One way to think of JJ2+ is as a series of tools built into various parts of the game to give you and other users more ways of creating new Jazzy experiences for yourselves. JJ2+ is a massive mod of Epic Games' 1998 masterpiece Jazz Jackrabbit 2, adding countless features and bug fixes to both Single Player and Multiplayer gameplay. Testing/Feedback: cooba, Naps, Necrolyte, Shaker, and the whole communityĪdditional thanks: Bobby aka Dizzy, Cataphract, Cpp, Emo, EvilMike, Foly, NinjaCC, Red Ninja, Shane Lillie, SuPrem, Syntax, Torkell, Andreas Jönsson of, the guys at CodeProject, and others who (might?) know who they are. The modder also suggests using GZDoom v3.7.2-v4.3.3, LZDoom v3.85. Naturally, you will need the Doom 2 WAD in order to play it.

You can download this total conversion mod from here. The latest version of Jazz Jackrabbit Dooma adds new enemies and changes a few existing enemy sprites. Unfortunately, the modder hasn’t provided any additional details about this project. As such, I don’t know whether these levels are remakes of the old ones, or new ones. Now I have to be honest here, I don’t really remember the first Jazz Jackrabbit games. Moreover, it features sprites for enemies and weapons from the Jazz Jackrabbit game. Jazz Jackrabbit Doom TC features a first-person perspective. Jazz Jackrabbit Doom TC is basically a fan game based on the Jazz Jackrabbit game in the Doom Engine, and you can download it right now. BassSlapper89 has released a pretty cool total conversion mod for the classic Doom 2 game.
